In November 2025, we submitted our revised planning application to the Council to extend and modernise Matrix Studios, as a variation to application 2024/02395/FULL, which was approved by the Council’s Planning Committee earlier this year.

The updated proposal includes:

• One new additional floor created within the existing roof space 

• A modest increase in roof height (by around 1.6m)

• A green roof and integrated solar panels

• 298sqm of new workspace to support Fulham’s creative industries (Increase of 10% compared to the Extant approval and total 30% increase from the existing building)

• Additional rooflights and the inclusion of blackout blinds which close automatically at dusk.

This application reflects design improvements identified through our detailed design work and consultation with neighbours earlier this year.
